Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address, and the display name, username, avatar and location you choose to add to your profile. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile details from Google.
• Content you create — saved splitcakes, recipes, tags, notes, boards, kit selections, shopping lists and any photos you upload.
• Usage information — basic activity such as pages visited, session length and your browser type, used to understand how the app is being used and to fix problems.
• Approximate location — the country, region and city your visit appears to come from, used only to understand where our community is growing. We do not store your IP address and we cannot see your precise location.
• Messages you send us — feedback, support requests and anything you submit through in-app forms.

• To run your account and save your work across devices.
• To display content you have chosen to make public in the Community section.
• To send you account emails (sign-in links, password resets, important notices).
• To improve the app, prioritise features and fix bugs.

Designs you save are private by default. A recipe becomes visible to others only when you set it to public or share an unlisted link. Your profile page is public only if you turn that on. Anything you post to the public Community can be seen, saved and downloaded by other users, so please don't include information you want kept private.

Photos are used to power features you asked for — colour picking, recipe photos and reference images. They are stored with your account. If you make a recipe public, any photos attached to it become public too. Please only upload photos you have the right to share, including permission for any recognisable person in them.

GTX Studio is intended for painters aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will remove the account.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app — hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, and error monitoring. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if legally required.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference, and hold your work-in-progress design between visits. These are essential to the app working; we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

• Edit or remove your profile details at any time from your profile page.
• Make any recipe private again, or delete it outright.
• Request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account and everything in it — contact us and we'll take care of it.

We keep your account and content until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Deleted content is removed from the live app immediately and from backups within 30 days.
